Infinity pool overlooks the Pacific -- imagine the sunsets

Serendipity is always finding places with intrinsic beauty and high standards of privacy, fresh air, stunning views. On the Pacific coast we've found a few places ideal for adventurous spirits. Here is one of our favorites, and represents a group we are currently working with in the area south of Manuel Antonio. This group of 4 individual houses, one with one bedroom and three with four bedrooms, are suitable for from 2 to 10 people. Combine with a rugged 4x4, these residences gives both the privacy and access to great adventures, good restaurants, and untamed nature areas. With Serendipity's "extras" (a cell phone, plus numbers for local restaurants, access to surf school buddy Henry and Norma, and of course Serendipity's own office resources to help you find everything from shampoo to a doctor -- or to call the airline and cancel your return ticket.....) The houses invite you to explore on your own, or have your Serendipity adventure leader stay as your translator or super chef or to take care of the kids while you are out misbehaving.

The houses have daily maid service, and will clean your breakfast dishes, but all food is "on your own"

The landscape is comfortably shaded

Quote:

Before the trip I was concerned about comfort. We had great hotels and wonderful meals. Even though we were off the beaten path and seeing parts of Costa Rica that most tourists never see, we always had comfortable rooms and excellent food.

We hiked the rainforest, visited a volcano, floated a jungle river, climbed an enormous strangler fig, rode fantastic horses, soaked in the hot springs, zip-lined above the forest, rappelled a remote river canyon, and whitewater rafted a tumbling, roaring river. Every activity was thrilling and fantastic! The best part of our trip was the personal guide, Juan Carlos. He had an amazing knowledge of the plants, animals, the jungle, the rainforest, the river, the restaurants, the roads and the hotels. His quick smile and constant enthusiasm brightened every event. I developed absolute confidence in his skill and judgement - and would trust my family in his care without reservation in the future. He made our trip a smashing success. We have enjoyed many different family vacations -- but this was the best ever.

Thank you Serendipity!!!
