VOLARE - the Serendipity house with wings
Volare -- means "I am flying"
In upstairs office, looking into master bedroom and down stairway to living room
Entry down the driveway brings you to the third level
Kitchen
Stairs down from upper 2 bedrooms to living room/kitchen
Master bedroom is open to the living room. The Chinese silk curtain, which open like Japanese fans, can be closed for privacy when we have guests
Christmas at Volare-- who needs snow when you have white clouds and warm sunshine?
The deck surrounds three sides of the house, each with its own special views. Below the top deck is an additional apartment
Sunrise in the hammock -- it's usually about 60 F in the morning, heats up to about 85 F, and at night drops again to low 60's. Then again, when we have a "Temporral", there is nonstop rain for 24-36 hours -- and I am talking about HARD rain. Temporals are completely random in season.
Gari and Jay, Tucker's brother and siser, coming up the stairs -- Tucker's 60th birthday weekend. This is probably my favorite view from th e house -- and especially favorite because my brother and sister enjoyed it with me
Master bedroom -- lay in bed and watch the sunrise hit the valley below.
Serendipity friends often come to stay in Volare, Tucker's home and part-time guesthouse behind Serendipity office on the slope of Turrialba volcano. The city of Turrialba is 900 feet below the house, somewhere under the clouds.
