Costa Rica Adventures for One or Two Days

Don't have much time? Then make it INTENSE!

If you only have a few days, you can make them extreme by creating a custom private trip with Serendipity. We can pack so much fun into two days you'll wonder what you ever did with yourself when you were on vacation before. Serendipity Adventures Costa Rica is not a vacation package company, sending you off with one tour operator here, another tour operator there. We operate our adventures, and provide all transportation from one adventure to the next to ensure you are not wasting time waiting for other tourists. Your schedule will be your own making.

• Rainforest Canopy Platform

  

  We built our own naturalist AND team building platform 110 feet up, suspended from the LOWEST branches of a 400-year-old tree. We can get you up there — even with your wheelchair, or you get yourself up there the hard way — literally climbing a rope.

• Horseback Riding

  

  Our stable of glorious horses and custom-made saddles (and magnificent places to ride them) is unique, not only in Costa Rica, but all of Latin America.

• Mountain Biking

  

  We have a huge selection of mountain biking routes — from an hour for a beginner to a week for an expert.

• Whitewater Rafting and Duckies

  

  We have our own white water rafts and we can run any river in the country (sometimes taking the rafts in via pack horse). When the water level and your skill level permit, we have duckies (duckies?? — inflated white water kayaks!) where you'll guide your own white water craft.

• Cabecar Trail Adventure

  

  We have a four day bushwhacking and camping adventure through the territory of the Cabecar Indians. You wield machetes during the day and sleep in hammocks at night.

• Nature Float Trip

  

  Silent small boats to slip up on nature unobserved are exclusive to Serendipity.

• Hot Air Ballooning

  

  We have the only hot air balloons in Central America, giving us vistas unavailable to mere ground-dwelling people.

• Canyoning

  

  We combine ropes and harnesses and helmets with waterfalls — we introduced canyoning to Costa Rica.

• Luxury 4WD Transportation

  

  And all of this is supported by our own fleet of rugged 4 wheel drive vehicles (pure work machines to true luxury).

• Canopy Tours

  

  For activities we do not operate ourselves, we've found the best, most reliable operators — canopy tours which meet our stringent standards for safety and guide training, sea kayaking, golf, fishing (fresh water and ocean), scuba, surfing, and other fun beach-type stuff.
