Pricing for the 8 Day Family Adventure

Costa Rica family travel with children with Serendipity provides freedom to explore nature and country life

Costa Rica travel with Serendipity often means kids experience old-fashioned farms like our grandparents had, and that we remember so fondly

Serendipity Adventures Costa Rica offers personally guided trips to discerning travelers. Every expedition is designed around your priorities — the adventures, the wealth of opportunity with nature, the style of hotel, the age range of your group, and access to special requests. Serendipity's four-wheel-drive vehicles also give you access to places normally closed to tourists. The key to your enjoyment is your Serendipity leader, who is with you throughout the expedition, always pushing you to try something new, challenge you physically, or mentally, or both.

Please remember that this is your trip with your departure dates. We do not add you to a set itinerary, combine you with other people, or suggest that other people join your trip.

To better understand the logistics of "group size" and to give you a rough idea of what a custom private vacation with Serendipity will cost, here's what the 8 day Active Family Adventure itinerary would cost per person for the following size groups and room sharing, in high and low season. We accommodate larger groups by adding guides and vehicles and equipment as needed, which gives you great flexibility in designing a trip with different action for different people in your group. The important thing to remember is that everything we do, from rafting to horseback to canopy zip lines -- is private for you. No lines, no buses, no compromising how hard you want to push, or how softly.

I love the serendipity staff. What an incredible group! Eduardo and Jose are a great team extremely competent and supportive. But I also love the support staff Channi, Carlos and Margarita, and the river guides Moises and Davis. They all provided amazing adventure for us. I have to also mention that I love meeting Don Carlos and his family getting to walk his land and understand his lifestyle was a great privilege for me. Finally on the top of the adventure of hiking, biking horseback riding and rafting we were able to have the rare experience of exploring the Cabecar land and seeing how the people live. This trip is an incredible opportunity. It shouldn't-be missed
