Terms of Reservations and Cancellations
Our Serendipity trip was wonderful for our family. We've had 9 days together before Ben goes to college. The adventures we've had, people we have met and the memories which were made will stay with us always. The level of professionalism from Matias as all of the support staff was outstanding. We put Macha ( our 4 x 4's name) to the test everywhere we went. The rafting lunch was a feast-- thank you Yami!

Many of our adventures are available on very short notice, so don't hesitate to call and see what's going on when you want to get wet, airborne, or dirty and sweaty. Of course, if you have a group (and that could be simply a group of one, just you!) wanting to make a special trip, we'd appreciate a few days to organize.
If you are reserving directly with Serendipity, you can use VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, or cash (personal or company or agency check) for the deposit (or full payments of up to $600 per person). Serendipity will then make final reservations with hotels, and send you the final itinerary with any adjustments to hotels needed. Final payment is due 60 days before start date of trip, unless otherwise specified on the final invoice sent to you with your confirmation packet.
If booking through your hotel or an agency in Costa Rica, be sure to receive from them a VOUCHER to give to your Serendipity adventure leader when you get together.
CANCELLATION by CLIENT
Full refund, less $190 per person, if requested in writing at least 65 days before start date. No refund if cancellation received less than 65 days before start date. Final payment at least 60 days before start date. Full payment should accompany reservations made less than 45 days before departure. Credit cards (AMEX, VISA and Mastercard) may be used for the deposit. The final charge for your itinerary (whether a private custom trip or if you join one of our published date itineraries) assumes final balance paid by cash, personal or corporate check, or money order. Any other final balance payment will result in a 4.5% additional processing fee.
