Serendipity Adventures Costa Rica is Costa Rica’s most versatile and adventurous vacation travel operator, focusing on family vacations and adventure vacations, with a strong commitment to nature and environment preservation. We have been designing and operating active vacations exclusively in Costa Rica since 1991.
Our guides are unquestionably the best trained in Costa Rica, and well educated in areas as diverse as architecture, engineering, biology, paramedics. As important, they love guiding, showing off our country, and helping our guests discover new talents.
We have lots of impressive equipment — we own our rafts, hot air balloons, climbing ropes and harnesses, a naturalist platform in a primary rain forest, mountain bikes, camping equipment, kayaks, horses, saddles, and stables. We’re an expeditionary operator, not a tour company.
While we can operate with 20+ people, normally we are working with one family of four or five people, or a group of friends who are setting the pace for the activities as a team. We operate all our activities privately, never joining our guests with strangers, never hopping on a bus. That makes us quite different from tour operators — and allows flexibility to develop vacations around our guests’ priorities — with some new action we like to convince them to try.
