Design your own

Regardless if you’ll travel with a personal Serendipity adventure leader, or if you’ll do an independent trip, with the input from our professional trip planners you’ll be able to do things most companies don’t offer.
The fun part is dreaming
Look at our wish list, and figure out what is most important to you, and what you’d like to try, then call us. As you describe your dream, we’ll design your adventure. We’ll pick the route, hotels, activities and sites to visit, based on your priorities.
And we’ll cater to your needs as no one else can do it, from special diets to sleeping quirks to your (quite sensible) fears of bugs, heights, snakes and crocodiles.
You’ll never have enough time…
…to do everything we offer, but you’ll be amazed how many activities you can cram into a week or so when you have our expertise in what there is to do, where everything is, and how long it takes to get from place to place. And you’ll even have time to enjoy marvelous hotels and excellent food.
We recommend you find a few friends to share the adventure (and the costs), but, quite honestly, a lot of newlyweds spend their honeymoon with a Serendipity guide towing them around from adventure to adventure (our guides know when to get lost, too!).
Where to start?
There are sample itineraries to show you how we’ve combined activities for guests with different interests. The samples have pricing information to give you an indication of how much a private Costa Rica adventure will cost.
Now picture yourself doing things you thought you’d never do, things you always thought belonged to the young and foolhardy. (Would it surprise you to learn that Serendipity’s average guest is 53 years old and has a desk job?)

Pricing

How much will it cost?

How much your Costa Rica vacation will cost can vary a lot and it will depend on the services you decide to include. A premium service trip including a dedicated guide, a 4 WD vehicle, all meals and all activities operated in private mode usually end in the $3500-$4800* per-person-per-week range for a family of 4.  An independent style trip including lodging,  transfers and non private tours can cost $1500-$2000* per person for a week. *The numbers mentioned are just ball park figures since the final amount will always depend a lot on the type of lodging you choose and how active you want to be...

Maybe you want to move around on your own (without a dedicated guide) but still enjoy the private adventures operated by Serendipity at different locations? Or maybe you do want the dedicated guide and 4 WD vehicle to be able to do plenty of local exploration, but don’t mind to join larger groups for the daily activities? Or maybe you want a few days of premium service and a few days on your own just relaxing?  Any setup or combination of services is possible with Serendipity, and the best way to get started with a proposal is that you tell us up front your time frame and how much you want to spend and we’ll come up with the best  itinerary possible within your price range.
