Costa Rica is bordered by two oceans and, with much of the country unreachable by road, there are a number of places that are best experienced from the serenity of a sea kayak. Whether it be paddling your way through the famous canals and estuaries of Tortuguero National Park, island hopping across the Gulf of Nicoya, or exploring the warm waters of the Golfo Dulce or the Caribbean coast, a sea kayak can add an extra dimension to your journey and get you to places you can’t reach by road.
Even complete novices can enjoy a few playful hours of sea kayaking.
Your Serendipity adventure can include anything from one hour of easy paddling in a sit-on-top kayak, to several days of island hopping in unprotected waters. When you paddle Costa Rica as part of a Serendipity adventure you are guaranteed to have good food, clean and comfortable lodging, and well-maintained equipment.
