Pricing for the 9 Day Family Adventure

Costa Rica family travel with children with Serendipity provides freedom to explore nature and country life

Costa Rica travel with Serendipity often means kids experience old-fashioned farms like our grandparents had, and that we remember so fondly

Serendipity Adventures Costa Rica offers personally guided trips to discerning travelers. Every expedition is designed around your priorities — the adventures, the wealth of opportunity with nature, the style of hotel, the age range of your group, and access to special requests. The key to your real enjoyment, however, is your Serendipity leader, who is with you throughout the expedition, always pushing you to try something new, challenge you physically, or mentally, or both. Serendipity's four-wheel-drive vehicles also give you access to places normally closed to tourists.

Please remember that this is your trip with your departure dates. We do not add you to a set itinerary, combine you with other people, or suggest that other people join your trip.

To better understand the logistics of "group size" and to give you a rough idea of what a custom private vacation with Serendipity will cost, here's what the 9 day Active Family Adventure itinerary would cost per person for the following size groups and room sharing, in high and low season. We can accommodate larger groups; we add guides, vehicles and equipment as needed.

** Christmas travel (Dec. 18-Jan. 5) and Spring Break(March 15-25) adds approximately 5% to the costs listed, because of higher costs for hotels, meals, and guides during the holiday period.

Prices depend on how many people will be in your self formed group, your preferences for action, and what tourist season or holidays are involved. Included: everything you'll want or need in Costa Rica: hotels (our sample itinerary assumes 3+ star average), all food from anything on the menu, all the adventures listed in your custom itinerary, snacks and beverages while on the road or in your hotel, laundry as needed, and your full time, dedicated Serendipity adventure leader. Not included: government exit visa tax ($26 per person), alcoholic beverages, and (optional) tip for the principal guide (who shares the tip with all the other Serendipity guides, service personnel, waiters, drivers, hotel staff etc., involved along the way).

Quote:

(Serendipity guide), Roger, made the trip. We left feeling like he was part of our family. I found out that I can do all kinds of things I never thought I could!

Ballooning was fantastic! Esteban calmed my fears and took us on a great flight. Tree climbing - Abraham was amazing! (Serendipity guides) Beto & Jaime were great! Nature watching = Roger is the nature man! I am a scientist & he answered ALL questions.
