Pricing for the 11 Day Costa Rica Naturalist Eco Travel Vacation
With your own personal trip guide and specialized guides for each activity, you'll have access to nature the big tours simply can't provide.
Serendipity Adventures provides custom designed private adventures. Every adventure is custom designed, and there is tremendous variation in types of hotels, how much adventure, how many people will be in your self formed group, what tourist season the trip is in, and what holidays are involved.
To better understand the logistics of "group size" and to give you a rough idea of what a custom private vacation with Serendipity will cost, here's what the 11 Day Naturalist Eco Travel itinerary would cost per person for the following size groups and room sharing, in high and low season. We can accommodate larger self-formed groups by adding guides, vehicle and equipment.

When more than six traveling, we use multiple 4x4 vehicles and Serendipity adventure leaders. This makes travel both comfortable and allows flexibility.
Most of the hotels we've selected for this trip would be classified as 3+ star. We believe "our" hotels have equal comfort to the hotels classified as four star in Costa Rica. In each location we've selected the hotel which provides the best service, and is most central to the activities. This reduces the time spent getting places, and allows more time away from tourist centers. "Our" hotels are remote from road traffic, with beautiful gardens and trails and intrinsic natural beauty. They are clean, fresh, and have good service.
Traffic noise pervades Costa Rica, where ventilation is normally through open windows. In San José it is both noise and diesel fumes which lull you to sleep, so we avoid San José completely.
Care to compare costs?
These are other reputable travel companies offering tours in Costa Rica of varying lengths, with varying activities and included items (meals, guides, etc.). All have good reputations in Costa Rica and the United States, with adequate infrastructure to assure their tour groups operate with minimal problems.
