Costa Rica is bordered by two seas, and much of the country is unreachable by road, so there are a number of places in Costa Rica that are best experienced from the serenity of a sea kayak. Whether it be paddling your way through the famous canals and estuaries of Tortuguero National Park, island hoping across the Gulf of Nicoya, or exploring the warm waters of the Caribbean coast, a sea kayak can add interest to your journey and get you to places you can't reach by road.
Even complete novices can enjoy a few playful hours of sea kayaking.
